A Practical, People-First Law Firm Serving Minnesota’s Immigrant and Injured Communities
Founded in 2010 by Edwin Goss and his former law school classmate, Goss Law grew out of a shared mission: to deliver high-quality, accessible legal services to underserved communities in Minneapolis and beyond. From the beginning, that mission has been rooted in immigration law—serving individuals and families navigating one of the most complex and emotionally charged areas of the legal system.
Over time, our work naturally expanded. Today, Goss Law also represents clients in personal injury matters and select small business issues. But no matter the practice area, our approach remains the same: focused, practical, and fiercely committed to client care.
A Personal Approach to Legal Guidance
Edwin Goss leads Goss Law with a pragmatic mindset and a deep respect for the people he serves. A native Spanish speaker and proud Puerto Rican, Edwin understands the cultural and legal nuances that often go hand in hand in immigration cases. His background in criminal defense adds another layer of insight—particularly for clients with complex case histories or immigration matters involving criminal charges.
Working alongside Edwin is Stephen Roiger, an experienced immigration attorney who has been with the firm since 2014. Like Edwin, Stephen is fluent in Spanish and focused entirely on helping individuals and families resolve immigration challenges—from straightforward marriage petitions to high-stakes court proceedings.

Corina Leon
Corina L. is the Office Manager and Bookkeeper here at Goss Law. Born and raised in California’s Central Valley she recently made the move to Minnesota. Growing up in a community rich with immigrant stories and being the daughter of immigrants herself, she has always felt a deep connection to the people we serve. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in accounting and plans to graduate in 2026.
At Goss Law, she takes pride in keeping our office running smoothly and creating a welcoming space for every client who walks through our doors.
Maria Gasca
Maria G. is a Legal Assistant. She was born in Baja California, Mexico and raised in Minnesota. She speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Her own experience of growing up in an immigrant family household has driven her to help others in her community. This perspective has helped her see the process of making the United States one’s home through different stories and different pathways.
For the last year, Maria has been working alongside of attorney Edwin Goss at Goss Law, where we handle immigration and personal injury cases. Maria is currently furthering her education to receive her undergrad degree in legal studies.
Alan Hernandez
Alan H. is a Legal Assistant. He was born and raised in Saint Paul, MN. He graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato, and since kindergarten have been a part of the Spanish immersion program. Growing up in a Latino household opened his eyes to the reality of having to manage two different worlds and somehow bring them together, and because of this he finds himself wanting to help as many as he can in my community.
For the past 2 years Alan has been able to be a part of the Goss Law team working with the Immigration Attorney Stephen Roiger, working on cases like Asylum, TPS, U visa, and many more.
